Creating and managing Aliases
Aliases allow you to answer chats via a different persona. You may want to protect your identity or give the appearance that your business is larger than it is. With Aliases, you can create a new identity for the customer to see when you respond to chats.
To make changes to an existing alias or create a whole new one, make your way over to your Profile Icon in the top right-hand corner of the Dashboardand click the image. This will open a menu with options for changing how you experience the Dashboard and how your interactions with others will appear to them.
Clicking the Edit Profile option from the list will take you to your My Profilepage. Selecting the Aliases tab will show you a list of all of your current aliases. Click on one from the list to make changes or hit the green Add Aliasbutton in the top right corner to create a new one.
Now you can give a name and add a picture to complete the new you, you can even upload your own pic to add another level of realism and personality.
With multiple Aliases set up, you can choose which one you’d like to use before joining a chat and even select you’re favorite as the default.
